From the college magazine and the music magazine i made i have learnt a lot about magazine designing on Photoshop. I have learnt about the placement of pieces on the pages, the colour schemes and suitable content to include. Photoshop devices i have used to improve my work from the college magazine is the spacing. This is the spacing between the two sentences putting the words and lines closer together. This looks better and gives you more room to write more and more space to add images. Another thing i have done is to add a texture into the background. This makes it look much better and not so dull with the colours. I have also not just used the rectangle image i have cut of the edges to make the image look more interesting and makes my music magazine more personal. One more thing i have done is adding qoutes taken from the feature page. These stand out and anyone flicking through the magazine
