The company who would be most likely to publish my magazine would be a big one which publishes other magazines like mine. For example what suits my magazine perfectly would be Bauer because these publish Kerrang! and such like. Though they might not want to publish one with the same style though. Publishing with a big company would be better because my magazine would be more widely distruputed all the round the country making my magazine more popular and well known. Going with a large publishing company means they would be able to distrubute my magazine to the UK's largest retailer which is WHSmith. Publishing with self publishing company means my magazine wouldn't be so well reconised and the sales would be completly different to ones compared to a big company. also a bigger company can support any money losses when first published.
Though going with a company which already publishes a magazine like mine may effect my magazine so going with another large company like IPC means i might get better sales though it would be hard because IPC are Bauer's biggest rivals.
Because i want my magazine to be well known and popular i would have an online version you can buy and download off our website and to meet more of my target audience i think sponsering things that my audience will also like would be extremely helpful. I would sponser things like music awards, iTunes events and support bands by sponsering them when on tour. After etchstablishing the magazine now can establish the brand.
